At AxiioTek, we are working on behalf of a leading systems integrator to find an AV Collaboration Pre-Sales Specialist.
The Role
As a Pre-Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping AV and collaboration solutions for enterprise clients. Partnering with sales teams, you’ll consult with customers, design tailored solutions, and ensure all technical requirements are fully captured and delivered. Acting as a subject matter expert, you’ll influence designs from initial concept through to project handover, ensuring solutions are innovative, scalable, and future-proof.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design
- Consult with clients to translate requirements into effective AV and collaboration solutions
- Produce high- and low-level designs, schematics, bills of materials, and scopes of work
- Define technical deliverables and usability for customer-facing proposals
- Ensure designs are complete, logical, and aligned with industry best practice
- Support tender and RFP processes with accurate technical input
- Keep solution knowledge current through training and vendor certification
- Customer Engagement & Support
- Act as a trusted advisor and technical authority in pre-sales meetings and workshops
- Deliver demonstrations and assist with proof-of-concept hardware where required
- Provide technical documentation, functionality statements, and handover materials
- Collaborate with internal teams to transition designs into delivery and support phases
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimise solution design
Documentation & Governance
- Produce and review professional documentation for customer and internal use
- Ensure all documentation meets quality standards and version control requirements
- Support the creation of templates and processes to drive consistency and efficiency
Communication
Skills & Experience
Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise AV and collaboration systems
Technical knowledge across:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex Rooms
- Video conferencing (legacy & current) and AV system design
- Audio systems (analogue & digital), video capture, DV LED, IPTV, digital signage
- Control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), room booking systems, 4K distribution
- Proficiency with design tools (e.g., D-Tools, schematic creation)
- Familiarity with command/control room environments and multi-room AV systems
- Experience with RFP/tender responses and technical proposals
- Strong communication skills, able to present confidently to customers and internal stakeholders
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
