Job Summary

• The AV Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment and systems. Working closely with our clients and project managers, the AV Technician will ensure that all AV components are correctly installed and functioning optimally, delivering outstanding audio and visual quality for various events and engagements.
• The successful candidate should have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional AV experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure audio-visual equipment, including projectors, screens, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing equipment, and other AV components.
  Ensure the proper cabling and connectivity of AV systems to deliver high-quality audio and video output.
  Collaborate with the event and production teams to understand specific AV requirements for each project
• Operate AV equipment during events, presentations, conferences, and other activities, ensuring flawless performance.
  Monitor AV systems in real-time to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
  Adjust audio levels, video settings, and other parameters to optimize AV quality based on event requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot AV equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  Provide technical support to clients and event participants, addressing their AV-related inquiries and concerns.
• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of AV equipment to ensure long-term reliability and performance.
  Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in AV technology to recommend upgrades and improvements as needed.
• Work closely with the AV team, event coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of AV setups.
• Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their AV requirements, and providing professional recommendations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards when handling AV equipment and setups.
• Conduct quality checks on AV systems before and after events to ensure exceptional audio-visual experiences.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training in AV technology are preferred.
• Proven experience as an AV Technician or in a related role, demonstrating expertise in AV equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in configuring and operating various AV equipment, including projectors, audio systems, video conferencing tools, etc.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced event environments.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on project schedules.
• Fluent German and English are required.
