Head of Sales – Live Audio (m/f/d)

Our client is a global leader in professional audio technology, renowned for delivering innovative solutions for live sound, broadcast, and event production environments. As part of their ongoing expansion across Europe, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead the Pro Audio Division, with a focus on live sound.

The Role
In this strategic position, you will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to strengthen the company’s presence across the live, rental, broadcast, and event production markets throughout Europe. You will lead a motivated team, drive regional business development, and ensure alignment with global objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the Pro Audio portfolio, including digital mixing consoles, processors, amplifiers, speakers, and networked audio products.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team to achieve growth targets and increase market share across assigned regions.
  • Actively contribute to the European leadership team, fostering collaboration across departments, regions, and with key partners such as distributors, integrators, and rental companies.
  • Oversee product launches, promotional campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives in close cooperation with the European marketing department.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key customer meetings, strengthening brand presence and relationships.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, service, and international sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless collaboration and continuous improvement.

Skills & Background

  • Significant experience in sales within the professional audio industry.
  • In-depth understanding of live sound and touring technologies, including digital consoles, loudspeaker systems, signal processing, and networked audio.
  • A degree in business administration or a related field, with strong commercial and analytical acumen.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in international teams, with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire others.
  • A balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across cultures.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and experienced in data-driven decision-making.
  • Open-minded and eager to challenge conventional approaches while driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly across Europe.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
