We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to offer support within Switzerland and ensure the optimisation and maintenance of infrastructure systems for key customers.

Responsibilities

  • Technical support for customers onsite
  • Ensure the terms of the Service level agreement are upkept at all times
  • Systems and computer hardware testing, diagnostics and configurations
  • Have a broad range of technical knowledge on all products / services including compatibility and limitations across the portfolio
  • Flexibility to travel and work after hours (if needed) in order to assist customer requests at any time
  • Respond in a timely manner to queries with customer satisfaction remaining of the upmost importance
  • Organise and asses with effective problem analysis to attend the site with the correct equipment and documentation
  • Utilise a professional manner and build strong relationships with customers
  • Manage inventory and anticipate future customer needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working as a Service Engineer
  • Extensive working with data centre hardware
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+ and Server +
  • Strong technical knowledge and affinity to learn
  • Good customer service and relationship building skills
  • Full drivers licence
  • Willingness to travel and be flexible with shifts and work hours
  • Fluent German and English
