We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to offer support within Switzerland and ensure the optimisation and maintenance of infrastructure systems for key customers.
Responsibilities
- Technical support for customers onsite
- Ensure the terms of the Service level agreement are upkept at all times
- Systems and computer hardware testing, diagnostics and configurations
- Have a broad range of technical knowledge on all products / services including compatibility and limitations across the portfolio
- Flexibility to travel and work after hours (if needed) in order to assist customer requests at any time
- Respond in a timely manner to queries with customer satisfaction remaining of the upmost importance
- Organise and asses with effective problem analysis to attend the site with the correct equipment and documentation
- Utilise a professional manner and build strong relationships with customers
- Manage inventory and anticipate future customer needs
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working as a Service Engineer
- Extensive working with data centre hardware
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ and Server +
- Strong technical knowledge and affinity to learn
- Good customer service and relationship building skills
- Full drivers licence
- Willingness to travel and be flexible with shifts and work hours
- Fluent German and English
