Our client is a growing specialist in media technology and video conferencing solutions, delivering technically advanced projects for high-profile clients. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-value projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
The role
- You will take full ownership of technically demanding projects within media technology and video conferencing systems, ensuring successful delivery across time, quality, and budget.
- You will plan, structure, and manage projects end-to-end, maintaining clear oversight of scope, milestones, resources, and costs throughout all phases. Leading cross-functional teams, you will coordinate engineers, technicians, and external partners to ensure delivery is aligned, efficient, and of a consistently high standard.
- The role requires regular client engagement, including site visits, surveys, and project reviews at key stages. You will oversee implementation, ensuring all work is completed on schedule and to specification, and will lead final acceptance with the client to confirm all requirements have been met.
- Acting as the main point of contact, you will manage communication across all stakeholders, providing clarity, resolving challenges, and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- A continuous improvement mindset is expected, with responsibility for reviewing project performance, identifying efficiencies, and producing clear, structured reports.
Skills
- Candidates should have a strong technical background in areas such as AV/media technology, electrical engineering, event technology, IT, building services, or construction.
- You will bring several years’ experience managing complex, technically driven projects, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage intricate project structures.
- A solid understanding of AV technologies is advantageous, including familiarity with systems and platforms such as Crestron, Shure, Dante or similar.
- A strong grasp of technical interfaces and dependencies is essential, alongside a structured and methodical approach to project delivery.
- You should be a confident and credible communicator, able to engage effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams. A high level of personal responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to quality is expected.
- Fluency in German and a good command of English are required.
- A genuine interest in new technologies, digital collaboration environments, and audiovisual systems will be important, along with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
