Our client is a global leading provider of cutting-edge audio-visual solutions working with a vast portfolio of top-tier companies across multiple industries.

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Audio-visual Service Engineer to join their talented team of experts. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the team ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of  clients’ audio-visual systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems including projectors, displays, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
• Process, accept and understand ticket requests by phone and e-mail
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of all systems; including the testing of hardware and cabling
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues and support queries in a timely manner
• Install and support control programs such as Crestron and AMX
• Collaborate closely with project managers, technicians, and clients to deliver exceptional service and support
• Provide technical training and support to clients and end-users to ensure seamless system integration
• Tracking and updating progress and if necessary escalate to downstream support units or service

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems
• Proficiency in configuring and programming audio-visual control systems (Crestron/AMX)
• Strong knowledge of system and network integration
• Good communication skills with a hands-on mentality
• Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-focused approach
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field
• Fluent German and English
