AxiioTek is partnering with a pioneering AV company in the Middle East that continues to expand its footprint across the region. Following an impressive period of growth and the streamlining of business unit verticals, the company is now seeking a Director of Event Production to lead their event production division in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and take full accountability for the performance, strategy, and growth of the Event Production business unit.
  • Define, implement, and monitor business plans, KPIs, and long-term strategies to ensure continued success.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality delivery, and smooth running of processes.
  • Act as a key partner to senior management, contributing to wider business development, client engagement, and cross-unit collaboration.
  • Take an active role in business development, client acquisition, and key account management to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Manage financial responsibilities including budget planning, forecasting, and profitability targets.
  • Provide strong leadership to the team, setting clear goals, driving motivation, and encouraging innovation.
  • Implement improvements across processes, resource allocation, and quality management to enhance performance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring transparency on decisions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Develop marketing and growth strategies in partnership with the internal marketing function.

About You

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in event production, exhibition fit-out, large-scale contracting, or a related field.
  • Proven commercial acumen with a strong record of delivering growth, winning major projects, and driving profitability.
  • Expertise in the full project lifecycle within event production, including budgeting, resource management, and cost control.
  • Strong background in building and leading high-performing teams, optimising workflows, and introducing operational efficiencies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, both internally and with clients.
    Comfortable operating strategically, while remaining hands-on where required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to event production in the region is a plus.
