As a key contributor to our team, your mission will involve orchestrating the planning, design, and engineering phases of audio-visual and lighting systems. This includes the creation of comprehensive technical documentation such as 2D/3D layout plans, detailed schemes, block circuit diagrams, schedules, and other relevant materials.

Your role

• The development of work programs and project schedules, overseeing internal and external project meetings, ensuring quality and budget control, and facilitating seamless coordination with clients and subcontractors.
• Aligning design and engineering efforts with project management, construction management, procurement, and logistics teams.
• Continuous project reporting and the leadership and management of a team of specialized Technical Planners on a project-by-project basis are integral components of this mission.

Profile 

• To excel in this role, you should bring to the table completed training and/or tertiary studies in engineering, media, or event technology.
• Your background should boast extensive experience (ideally 5 years or more) in technical planning within the realm of permanent AV and media technology projects.
• Your expertise should extend to coordinating the design and engineering activities of complex international system integration projects, with a preference for experience in museums, exhibitions, experience centers, and other innovative multimedia installations.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing high-performance teams are essential.
• Your proficiency in commonly used audio-visual and lighting systems, coupled with an expert command of Vectorworks and ConnectCAD, will set you apart.
• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office is a must.
• Strong communication skills in both German and English, both verbally and in writing, are vital for effective collaboration.
• Your willingness to travel globally for projects and an agile, proactive approach to planning and optimization are qualities we value.
