Role Overview:

• As an Events Project Manager, you will be responsible for processing, negotiating, and finalizing supplier contracts and subcontractor services
• Coordinating the interactions between supplying and managing contracts and subcontractors will be essential
• You will plan and execute system acceptance tests, oversee decentralised and cross-trade international project teams and implement risk management strategies
• The role will also involve monitoring project progress (deadlines, quality, costs), ensuring receivables are secured and ensuring technical documentation adheres to quality standards

Candidate Profile:

• Technical education background, such as an event technician or a relevant degree in event technology, event management, civil engineering, or architecture
• Extensive experience in planning and executing fixed installations in past projects
• Exceptional skills in customer interaction, with a proven ability to build and maintain customer loyalty
• Effective team leadership, demonstrating close collaboration with cross-cultural teams, assertiveness, and unwavering commitment
• Comprehensive understanding of complex technical, business, and contractual relationships
• Knowledgeable about relevant rules and regulations, including DIN, VDE, VOB
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and key project management software solutions such as MS Project, Primavera, Aconex, etc
• Desirable knowledge of AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and Revit
• Willingness to travel globally for projects
• Proficient in both German and English at a business fluent level
• Possesses distinct entrepreneurial acum
