We are seeking an experienced LED Installation Technician to support the installation, configuration, and commissioning of professional LED display systems for live events, exhibitions, and permanent installations. This role is hands-on and suited to someone confident working with Novastar processing, LED panels, and on-site troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, rig, and dismantle indoor and outdoor LED display systems
- Configure and commission LED walls using Novastar controllers and software
- Perform pixel-level troubleshooting, module replacement, and calibration
- Load receiving cards, map screens, and manage signal flow
- Support pre-production testing and on-site setup
- Work safely at height and in line with site HSE regulations
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and event crews on site
Requirements
- Proven experience installing professional LED screens
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Novastar (MCTRL, VX, and receiving cards)
- Experience with LED panel types (ROE, Absen, Unilumin, etc.)
- Understanding of signal distribution (HDMI, SDI, fiber)
- Ability to fault-find under time pressure
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and on live sites
- Fluent Dutch and English.
Preferred
- Experience with Brompton processing
- Rigging / working-at-height certification
- Electrical or AV qualification
