As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the installation, maintenance, and service of a diverse range of audio equipment at client sites. You will also provide essential support to the integration department through administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to comprehensively review equipment installation requirements, ensuring installations are executed to exact specifications and uphold high-quality standards.
- Establish effective communication channels with customers to ensure timely fulfillment of their needs, while also providing comprehensive training to end users on systems and equipment operation.
- Take ownership of ongoing service and maintenance for installed equipment, meticulously maintaining accurate service records.
- Uphold a culture of safety within the department by adhering to safe working practices, including the proper operation of tools and equipment.
- Contribute to stock management by utilizing the Company’s asset-tracking software effectively.
- Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs of professional audio, lighting, and video systems and equipment, adhering to established procedures both on-site and off-site.
- Uphold a commitment to safety by consistently following correct procedures for tool and equipment operation.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Possess a diploma in the audiovisual field or equivalent experience of 1 to 3 years.
- Professional Requirements: Hold a valid driving license and have the legal right to work in Germany.
Desired Skills:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in professional audio equipment/systems, including setup, installation, operation, and servicing, with a focus on Soundweb & DME (knowledge of Q-Sys would also be advantageous).
- Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with lighting or video systems would be a valuable asset.
- Electronics Aptitude: Display a natural aptitude for working with electronics.
- Communication Proficiency: Showcase excellent communication skills and a customer-centric telephone manner.
- Rapid Learning: Demonstrate a strong willingness and capacity to learn quickly.
Computer Literacy: Display competence in computer usage, including database utilization. - Proactive Attitude: Exhibit initiative and the ability to work autonomously, while still recognizing the right times to seek guidance.
