We’re looking for an Audio DSP Engineer to join an innovative R&D team and help create the next generation of cutting-edge audio technology.
If you have a passion for high-quality sound, strong DSP expertise, and a curiosity for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in pro audio, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
The Role
As an Audio DSP Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and optimise digital signal processing algorithms that bring exceptional sound to life. Working closely with software, hardware, and acoustics teams, you’ll contribute to the full product lifecycle – from concept to final tuning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimise DSP algorithms for audio processing (e.g. EQ, dynamics, spatial audio, noise reduction, echo cancellation).
- Work with embedded systems teams to integrate DSP into hardware platforms.
- Analyse system performance and carry out listening tests to ensure audio excellence.
- Develop and maintain signal processing code using languages such as C/C++ and MATLAB.
- Collaborate with acoustics, hardware, and firmware engineers to bring products from prototype to production.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in DSP and audio technologies.
Skills and experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Acoustics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital signal processing fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience in C/C++ or similar languages.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or similar for algorithm prototyping.
- Experience with fixed-point and floating-point DSP implementation.
- Passion for audio quality and innovative sound design.
- Fluent in German and English.
Desirable:
- Experience with ARM DSPs, SHARC, or other embedded platforms.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Understanding of audio networking protocols (AES67, Dante, AVB).
- Familiarity with machine learning applications in audio.
- Experience with professional or consumer audio products.
We look forward to your application.
